Perth Improvised Theatre Society Membership
An Important Distinction
Only The Human (OTH) operates as a social enterprise in collaboration with the Perth Improvised Theatre Society (PITS), a non-distributing cooperative. PITS members help grow and support improvisation in Perth by volunteering at, facilitating, and attending workshops, performances, and fund-raising endeavours that support the co-op. PITS strives to provide the benefits of improv broadly and inclusively around Perth, and Western Australia.
Open To All
Membership to PITS is open to anyone who values improv and wants to contribute. All memberships require endorsement by our Board which will preference applicants that are already demonstrating a contribution to the improv community through attending events & fundraisers, learning and performing improv, and modelling our core behaviours. Any applicant declined membership endorsement by the Board will receive a full refund.
Becoming a PITS Member
Membership is maintained through a paid subscription to the cooperative. Once an application is received, assessment and endorsement by the PITS Board will occur within 28 days, as per our Model Rules (usually much quicker!).
