Join Our Channels

You’re welcome to join the Improv WA Discord server, created by one of our members. We also have an Alumni page on Facebook. Both of these are open to improvisers more broadly than the PITS Membership.

Attend Member-only Events

Members have access to certain Member-only events, detailed in our calendar. Unless stated otherwise, members are welcome to bring partners and close friends to events. Member events are also open to current students. A full list of events is available on our calendar.

The best way to stay across our events is to add our calendar to your Google Calendar or any other calendar (.ics link).

Self Organising Systems and Improv Teams

Self-Organising Systems is our model which supports self-organised teams and activities to flourish.  The defining feature is that these activities are conducted without the Board or Working Circle controlling or directing the activity. you don't need to ask for permission, you just need to start. SOS activities would include forming a team, jam or putting on a show. Self-Organised Systems typically focuses on self-directed activities which support our goals, but aren’t directly connected to key strategic prioirities. You can more on our SOS model here.

Who is it for: Anyone who has an idea related to improv, sketch or experimental comedy that aligns to the OTH values that is beyond the remit of the Board or Working Circle.

How to apply: Just get started! Reach out to people you want to work with and get things underway. If you’d like a little more direction on where to begin or want to soundboard some ideas, email hello@othcomedy.com.
