The Road to Hell - A Long-form Improvised Character Workshop

Desire fuels strong scene work, turning characters away from their histories and into their stories. This workshop will push you to declare strong intentions and to recognise how they shape your shows.

We will focus on two character dimensions: comedic and tragic. We often think of these two 'arcs' as opposites, to our detriment. They give us much more fun when we see them as two perspectives on the same twisted spiral between order and chaos. Give us the rubble to rebuild, or craft the priceless vase we can shatter.
